Meet Kathleen

Kathleen Yazbak has been advising boards and CEOs on their most critical leader hires for more than twenty years. She founded Viewcrest Advisors in early 2015 to provide retained executive search services and leadership advice to high-performing, mission-driven organizations that share her commitment to social justice and access to opportunity.

Prior to starting Viewcrest Advisors, Kathleen spent nearly a decade at The Bridgespan Group, an affiliate of Bain & Company, where she created and built a search practice that successfully led 200+ senior social sector searches. She also led multinational searches for over ten years at Heidrick & Struggles and Whitehead Mann, based in Paris, London, and Boston.

In 2011, Kathleen co-authored an article in Harvard Business Review entitled “Get ready for your next assignment,” and has been widely quoted on leadership and diversity-related topics in Forbes, Bloomberg Business Week, The New York Times, and The Chronicle of Philanthropy.

Kathleen earned a B.A. from Tufts University and an M.A. from New York University/La Sorbonne. She is the proud daughter of a naturalized American citizen, carries two passports, and is bilingual in French. She actively advocates for individuals with learning differences; as part of this, she recently completed ten years as a board member of the nationally recognized Riverview School where she led Nominating and Governance, and also participated in the creation of two social enterprises. In her spare time, she is deepening her yoga practice, and enjoys ethnic cooking.

I have never had a better search experience than with Kathleen; our working relationship throughout the process was unparalleled.
